Mimetic Digitwolis

Noise Engineering

Next-generation four-channel CV-sequencing powerhouse with configurable routing, quantization, MIDI, and more. Features four output lanes configurable as modulation CV, pitch CV, triggers, gates, or external CV quantizer; four mappable CV inputs; five mappable trigger inputs; MIDI in/out on TRS type A jacks; and up to 16-step sequences with X/Y navigation.709

Capabilities 3

CV Sequencer (Chain)cv-sequencer
Four-channel CV sequencer with configurable output types (CV, Note, Gate, Trig, Qtiz), up to 16 steps per lane, X/Y navigation, clock dividers, and per-lane slew.709
MIDI I/Omidi-io
TRS type A MIDI in and out. Supports MIDI clock sync, program change for preset loading, MIDI note output from note/trig/gate/qtiz lanes, CC output from CV lanes, and MIDI keyboard scale editing.709
Quantizerquantizer
Each lane can operate as an external CV quantizer (Qtiz mode) with configurable scales including 12-tet and microtonal options. MIDI keyboard scale input supported.709

Jacks 15 — 10 in / 5 out

Parameters 22

NameTypeRangeBehavior
Amtmenu_settingSets the number of steps the sequence shifts when the Shift trigger is received.709
Configbutton709
Copybutton709
Dimsmenu_settingSets the step maximum and navigation scheme for the lane. 16x1 is a conventional 16-step sequence advanceable forwards/backwards. Other settings have multiple dimensions advanced by XAdv and YAdv triggers.709
Distmenu_settingCV-controllable. Sets Nudge direction. Above 8 biases nudge upward; below 8 biases nudge downward. For Gate/Trig lanes, sets probability of steps being on or off.709
Divmenu_setting1 – 16Applies a clock divider to all Advance triggers (including X and Y). CV-mappable.709
EditknobMain editing encoder. In CV lane: turn to coarsely adjust step level, press+turn to finely adjust. In Note lane: turn to adjust by semitones, press+turn to jump octaves. In Trig/Gate lane: CW activates step, CCW deactivates. In menu: turn to navigate, tap to enter/edit submenu.709
Lenmenu_setting1 – 16Sets the length of the sequence (16x1 only). CV-mappable for external control.709
Loadbutton709
Maxmenu_setting709
Minmenu_setting709
Nextbutton709
Prevbutton709
Savebutton709
Scalemenu_settingOpens the scale selection submenu. Scale types: Keys (12-tet), Diaton (12-tet), Symmet (12-tet), Equal (microtonal), Ratio (microtonal).709
ShredbuttonSets the current step to a random value.709
Slewmenu_settingSets the amount of slew limiting applied to the lane output for smooth transitions between values.709
Stop/Edit/RunswitchThree-position transport switch. Stop: halts sequencer, disables all lane responses. Edit: enables edit playhead while playback continues. Run: normal playback.709
ViewbuttonSwaps between the Overview and Focus sequencer screens, or goes back a screen when in a submenu.709
VMaxmenu_settingSets the maximum output voltage of the CV lane.709
VMinmenu_settingSets the minimum output voltage of the CV lane.709
ZerobuttonSets the current step to its minimum value. If already at the minimum value, sets the step to the maximum value.709
