Three-channel knob recorder that captures and plays back the movements of three knobs as control voltages, with adjustable playback speed and offset, one-shot or loop playback, a common reset input, and battery-backed persistent memory.1045
Capabilities 1
CV Recordercv-recorder
Each of three channels records knob motion or CV input and plays it back as a CV output, with adjustable speed and offset. Battery-backed RAM preserves recordings when powered off.1045

Description
Inputs (2)
CV-1 Input
cv
-5V to 10V
Channel 1 CV input that records external voltages (e.g. LFOs). When a cable is patched, the knob acts as an offset; the module switches between knob and CV input based on which is being changed.1045
Reset Input
trigger
0V to 10V
A high pulse resets all active tracks and restarts them according to the last playback mode setting (one-shot or loop). Has no effect during RECORD or STOP mode.1045
In Stop mode, directly sets the channel 1 CV output voltage. Switches to CV-1 input when that input changes. In Play mode, controls speed or offset depending on the selected function.1045
CH2 Knob
knob
—
In Stop mode, sets the channel 2 CV output directly. In Play mode, controls speed or offset.1045
CH3 Knob
knob
—
In Stop mode, sets the channel 3 CV output directly. In Play mode, controls speed or offset.1045
Short press (less than 0.5 s) triggers one-shot playback; long press (more than 0.5 s) starts loop playback. Also used in combination with STOP button to toggle between Speed and Offset functions.1045
Polarity Switch
switch
—
Slide switch on the module PCB that selects between unipolar (0 to +10 V) and bipolar (±5 V) output voltage range for all channels.1045
RECORD Button
button
—
Starts a recording session (LED blinks). Press again or wait until maximum record time to stop recording; playback loop then begins automatically. Can be pressed from Stop or Play mode.1045
Speed/Offset Function
button
—
Toggles the knob function between Speed (adjusts playback rate) and Offset (shifts CV output up or down by up to ±5 V). Default after power-on is Speed. Knob center position is the original record speed for Speed, and zero offset for Offset.1045
STOP Button
button
—
Activates Stop/manual mode. Holding STOP and pressing PLAY toggles the knob between Speed and Offset functions in Play mode.1045
